Incoming Controversial Sh*!
Ya know I’ve been doing some thinking. There’s a lot that goes on in the artist community. I’ve seen both sides of it, being someone that commissions art, and works on it (well, sort of, if a colorist counts as an artist). There’s a lot of little things some folks do or don’t do that really affects reputation and business. It’s almost like some unspoken code of conduct among artists.
They aren’t exactly strict rules that must be followed, more like guidelines. But not going along them can really hurt an artist socially. I figured I would go through the kind of ‘guidelines’ I’ve noticed and kinda make the unspoken code…well, spoken :P
I made a little document containing these guidelines I came up with. Check it out, share it maybe with friends. I just had it burning in my mind and figured I get it out.
And here’s the first half of the first batch of finished commissions! Thanks once again for your patience and understanding, it’s not often I get to work on so many things at once, so this’ll hopefully help me get back in the groove of things.
